Newbridge House and Farm is multi faceted and ever changing.  From the gently undulating wild flower meadows of the Park to the stately grandeur of the Georgian Mansion, Newbridge Demesne truely is an experience for all ages and in all seasons.

Families adore the 18th century working Farm and state of the art Adventure Playground, rounding off their visit with homemade treats in the Courtyard Tearooms.  Enter the Farm via its 18th century cobbled courtyard and visit a vast array of animals ranging from the Shetland and Connemara ponies of the paddock, to the piglets, goats and baby chicks of the farmyard.

Another amazing playground installation by Fingal County Council - it ranges from tots up to about a 10 year old.  My kids love this spot - the only disadvantage of it is that it is built in a massive L shape - which means if you have kids at either end of it, you can't see at least 1 of them.

Anyhow, don't let that take away from this playground - its Fab - there are tons of climbing frames, swings, tunnels, a football cage, balancing tests etc here.  There are also purpose built toilets right in the playground and seats up at the younger Children's end.

The demesne is massive, so there is loads of room out there for picnic blankets - there is a dedicated area for BBQs.  Inside the house there is a coffee shop also.

The farm has paid entry and its a lovely walk for smaller kids to see small animals - everything from ducks, chickens, peacocks to pigs, goats - recommended.

The playground / picnic area is free but you must pay to visit the farm.

The playground is fantastic and is a great place for the little ones. It's all on the same level so if you have kids of different ages you can see them. There is also a toilet in the playground. The farm is great. Only downside if you have a buggy you will need help dragging it through the stones and there are a few steps through the house to get through to the farm.
