Kilmore Quay Seafood Festival
Now in its 32nd year, the Annual Kilmore Quay Seafood Festival takes place in July each year. The 2018 Festival will take place from Thursday 11th to Sunday 15th July 2018.
Each July, Kilmore Quay, a charming and picturesque fishing village, on the south-east coast of Ireland, celebrates summer with delicious seafood platters, fishing and lots of fun activities for all the family.
Delicious Seafood Platters available from Thursday 12th July to Sunday 15th 12.30 - 19.30 (18.00 on Sunday) in "The Loft" at the Stella Maris Centre.
Highlights of the festival include, Festival workshops for children with Red Moon Theatre Group Festival Bridge, Seafood Platter Competition, Cookery Demonstrations with Ireland’s Top Chefs, Photographic/Art Exhibitions, Puppet Theatre, Teddy Bears Picnic, Nature Walk on Ballyteigue Burrow, Sunset and Sunset Yoga, Festival Run, Keeragh Islands Lecture, Sea Shanties, Sea-Kayaking, Family Fun Day on The Little Beach. Yacht Race, Cooking with Herbs, Seaweed Foraging, Ceilí and Harbour stalls at the Marina and live music locally.
Official Opening of the Festival by Ruth Hegarty (Nora Keogh from Fair City). Bloco Garman and Intro will provide live entertainment.
