Cork Carnival of Science

Cork's Fitzgerald Park is set to transform into a science super-park this weekend, as Cork’s first Carnival of Science comes to town.The two day event will feature more than 100 exhibitors offering non-stop, family-friendly experiments, interactive activities, games, street cuisine and a packed line-up of live entertainment.

Art Workshop | Fota Wildlife Park

This summer, Fota Wildlife Park will run a series of fun and educational events including art workshops, music workshops and Yoga@Fota. Thhis weekend, visual artist Johnny Flynn runs the first of his animal and bird themed Summer Art Workshops. The event is free with your admission but places are limited and each child must be registered in advance. 

Skerries Midsummer Festival

The weekend will host the Three Island Challenge – Ireland’s first east coast Currach Race with lots of other family entertainment from Friday-Sunday including swimming races, sailing displays, on-the-beach sports, sand castle competitions, outdoor cinema movies, live music and a beachside tented festival village of vendors, craftspeople and family amusements.Bike Week

Bike Week is a celebration and promotion of all that's great about bikes and cycling from 22nd - 30th June, with bike themed events organized by local authorities, community groups and cycling groups throughout Ireland.

Rathfarnham Castle is again the venue for the 3rd Flavours of South Dublin Food Festival on Sunday from 11am to 6 pm.

The Stoneybatter Festival

A three-day neighbourhood and street festival in the heart of Dublin with over 120 events in 56 locations including Open House Day, a range of sporting activities at Grangegorman, a Festival Music Hub and an action-packed family fun day on Sunday including the Great Batter Bake Off with Pauline McLynn and Woofstock best dressed dog contest.

Sea Sessions Surf and Music Festival

From humble beginnings, the festival has grown to become one of the highlights of the Irish summer, attracting high profile international acts, as well as the best of Irish. It has also cemented Bundoran’s reputation as the Irish surf capital. Performances this year include Sigrid, Clean Bandit and Two Door Cinema Club.

Bia Lover Food Festival

The festival centrepiece will once again be its’ producer market where food and drink producers showcase their wares. There will be music and dance, a multicultural food tasting, baking competitions, busking competitions, children’s activities and general all round great fun and entertainment.

The 65th Annual O'Malley Clan Rally takes place this year in Limerick and will be a fun-filled weekend with lots of events including the Family Fun Day on Sunday at the Hunt Museum.

Midsummer Arts Festival

The fourth annual Midsummer Arts Festival takes place from 18th - 22nd June.  The Festival’s theme for 2019 is Mythology and features live performances from The Riptide Movement, comedy, theatre, exhibitions, dance and lots of family activities and entertainment.
