Rocky Shore Ecology Walk with Marie Power, The Sea Garden

Do you know what’s living out there on our shores? Join Marie Power, author of The Sea Garden, at Garrarus Strand, one of the Copper Coast most beautiful beaches. Enjoy a leisurely beach walk on a lovely Saturday afternoon and explore the diverse plant and animal life on the rocky shore of the Copper Coast - and learn about the health benefits of seaweed, seaweed foraging and seaweed cooking! Science on the Farm at Copper Coast Mini Farm

Great way to explore science while getting up close to all the animals living on a farm. Start the afternoon with a treasure hunt at the Copper Coast Mini Farm while your parents enjoy the day in the tea rooms. You will then get the chance to present your treasures and to do some hands-on science experiments with materials you can find everywhere on a farm or in even at home in your garden. All participants get a free family pass for the whole day.
