St.Patrick's Day Parade, Limerick
The Limerick St. Patrick's Festival is a weekend-long celebration featuring Ireland's largest regional parade and the ever-bombastic International Band Championship. Get with the green as you enjoy the festivities.
Limerick’s parade is a blaze of colour and music, with more than 3,500 participants featuring musicians, dancers and entertainers.
The International Band Parade will host several new bands travelling from North America, Europe and the four corners of Ireland. Joining Limerick's finest, these bands will showcase their talents with adrenaline-pumping music for all the family to enjoy.
Limerick’s St. Patrick’s Festival celebrations will burst into life at midday on Sunday, 17th March for Ireland’s largest regional St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
Street theatre companies LUXe and Lumen will be accompanied by the School of Spectacle in a colourful prosession which will start on O’Connell Avenue (Roden Street junction) before winding its way through the heart of Limerick City Centre.
The parade, which is being co-ordinated by Grooveyard Productions on behalf of Limerick City and County Council, will feature thousands of participants from various community groups, companies, bands and sports clubs from across Limerick and further afield.
